Making Electricity in Motion

To convert electricity into motion you need electromagnets. Electromagnets are a type of magnet that uses the magnetic field. The magnetic field is created when electrically charged protons and electrons "push" or "pull" in a material such as copper or metals where the electrons are loosely held.

Motion creating electricity is called kinetic energy. This kinetic energy moves from one place to another. To create the kinetic energy there are special devices such as cars or generators that creates the electricity. If you ever tried to pull on the handle of a generator, it can be extremely hard. It's hard because the kinetic energy is slowing down your arm to create the electrical energy. Also to create kinetic energy from a car you need another form of energy to move the mass
